We import, wholesale and distribute plastic model kits to the model and hobbies trade. Mig is renowned as one of the worlds finest modellers and started his company to help fellow modellers improve their dioramas and model making skills.As well as pigments, filters and oil colours Mig also produces resin conversion sets and full kits in 1:35, 1:72 and 1:48 scale. This includes conversions for Tamiya, Dragon, Italeri, Hasegawa and Revell model kits. As well as Mig we also stock most well known brand of plastic kits, resin models, tools, paints and glues as well as a selected range of diecast cars and military vehicles in many scales.

Options for buying our products Your Local Model Shop This is our prefered option for buying our products. Local shops will offer you the best support and advice (and a coffee if your lucky!). Most of you will buy all your paint, tools etc from here but may think you are better buying more expensive items cheaper from the internet. However if you do not support your local shops what will you do for paint when they are all closed?? It may sometimes cost slightly more from your model shop but you also get to look at the kit "in the flesh" and check out what your buying. If your local shop is not listed or does not deal with us already ask them to give us a call. UK Internet Retailer / Mail Order With the rise of the internet there are now a number of very good UK internet retailers who stock all of our products. They will offer you very good service but you cannot look at the product first and will have to wait a couple of days for delivery. Buy directly from us If you cannot find a specialist item from either option 1 or option 2 then you can order it directly through us. As explained above we would prefer you to use your local model shop first but if you have no success in finding what you want then you can order online here. Overseas Internet Retailer A number of people now order directly from companies in Asia. In our opinion this is the worst option available to you. You may save a few pence compared to UK prices but you will find that quite often you will wait weeks (or even months!) for your item. Support from overseas is limited especially if you have missing parts or decals. As we have already said you are taking valuable business away from the UK market and long term this is not sustainable. You will end up having to order from abroad as there will be no local model shops left!

Mig Productions best known products are their range of pigments. These now come in easy to use sets including MIG00226 - Fresh Mud, MIG00227 - Rust & Smoke, MIG00228 - Sand & Earth and MIG00233 - Urban Combat Set. To finish your models properly it is recommended to use both Sin Industries Filter sets and Abteilung Oil Colors. The filters are specialist colour washes designed for use on military vehicles. The sets currently available are MIG00243 - German, MIG00247 - Allied and MIG00403 Afrika Korp. Use Abteilung oil colours for applying finishing touches to your kits. These are again specific colours designed for modelling including basic earth, dark rust, green grass and luftwaffe yellow. To see the whole range please put MIGABT into the search box on the right hand column. All these products work well when applied over Vallejo Model Color or Model Air paints. These waterbased acrylics are in our opinion the best on the market and have over 300 colours across their two ranges. Colour charts and conversion tables are available to convert Vallejo to Humbrol, Revll, Tamiya, Gunze Sangyo, Testors, Modelmaster, and Federal Standard colours.
